No one expected Bear Wolf – the strongest, loudest and most vocal man in the Dingle family – to disappear without a trace.

Just one evening after a heated argument with his son Paddy Dingle, Bear left home, said he was going to “sleep with a friend”, and then… vanished.

For the first three days, everyone thought he was angry.

A week later, his phone was silent, his car was still in the yard, his bank account was frozen.

Mandy Dingle began to suspect something was wrong when she discovered Bear’s pajamas in the shed and the faint smell of petrol. “He would never leave without a coat,” she told Paddy, her voice trembling.
The whole village was searching. Marlon, Cain, even Sam scoured the area – but Bear seemed to vanish into thin air. Paddy is bewildered: “Dad said something was going to happen… but I thought he was joking.”
