No one in Emmerdale could have imagined that Bear Wolf, who once made the whole small village stir, would completely disappear for more than 100 days.

Paddy, the son who always tried to act calm, now seemed crazy.

He searched every corner, every text message, every bank bill – and discovered something no one dared to think: Bear had never left England.

The first information that made Paddy mad was the account statement.

There was no sign of spending in Ireland as Bear said. Strange withdrawals even appeared around the Yorkshire area – where Bear had arranged to meet an old friend. The scene of Paddy standing in the middle of the night, shaking his hand holding the phone, saying “Daddy, where are you?” made the whole audience choke.

Speculation spread quickly. Some villagers said Bear had run away from debt, others believed he had been kidnapped. But Paddy, with a sense of family, insisted: “No, my father isn’t gone. Someone is holding him back.” He began to follow the trail – from the abandoned post office, to the rusted van next to the old petrol station. Each detail seemed to form a map of fear.

Then that night, Paddy found Bear’s wallet – in the pocket of a jacket left on the edge of the woods. His eyes were red, the flashlight flickered across the words “To my son, keep fighting.” In that moment, the audience understood: Bear hadn’t disappeared randomly. He had been drawn into something dark, perhaps a pre-planned plot.
