The once peaceful village of Emmerdale is now haunted by Celia Daniels and her trusted henchman, Ray Walters.

From a criminal network masquerading as a trading operation, Celia has leveled up to become a manipulator of an entire family, especially Marlon and his daughter April.

April, once an innocent teenager, is tricked into delivering goods for the gang, then threatened to the point of living with guilt, believing she is responsible for the tragedy.

Celia understands this psychology perfectly, using it as a chain to bind April.

Things officially cross the line when Celia and Ray decide to use Dylan Penders – April’s boyfriend – as a living example. In a terrifying video call, Ray drives straight into Dylan right in front of April, then calmly “finishes it off” by injecting him with a drug to ensure he can’t get up. The image of Dylan collapsing, motionless on the ground, haunted April to the point that she believed all the blame rested on her, that if she didn’t obey and continue delivering the goods, the people she loved would fall one by one.

Dylan was taken to the hospital, lying in a deep coma, surrounded by flashing medical equipment. April was plunged into a true mental hell. She didn’t dare tell her parents for fear Celia would retaliate, and she didn’t dare stop because every time she hesitated, Celia would mention Dylan, Bear, and the familiar faces in the village. Celia even had the audacity to come to their door, look directly into April’s family’s eyes, and smile as if she were doing something good for the community.
