All week, Charity tries to hide her anxiety with a tough attitude, but the audience will see her sitting alone, hands shaking, looking at the money being demanded. This is one of the rare moments when the character shows real weakness.

The drama escalates when the blackmailer issues an ultimatum: if Charity doesn’t hand over the money, he will reveal the secret at a community event where the whole village will be present. Not only is Charity’s reputation at stake, but her loved one could be dragged into the incident.
