A seemingly peaceful evening at the Woolpack suddenly turns into an emotional battlefield when Charity Dingle discovers that

Cain has hidden a shocking secret from her: he was the one who helped Moira meet the man who ruined Charity’s first marriage.

Opening scene: Charity walks into the pub, her face red, holding an old piece of paper – evidence that Cain interfered in the incident years ago.

She screams: “You did all this for Moira?” Cain tries to keep calm, but his eyes cannot hide the guilt.

When he just steps forward, smack! – the slap makes the whole pub fall silent.
