Another young boy is at the centre of tragedy.

Dylan Penders, a new kid in the village, has just experienced the horror of being kidnapped in the middle of the night.

Dylan reportedly left home after a small argument, then disappeared without a trace.

When he was found, he was in a state of panic, covered in mud and muttering: “They made me work for them.”

Police later discovered a broken phone containing messages from someone calling himself “Mr. R”. Although Dylan was rescued, viewers quickly realised — he was no longer himself. In the following episodes, Dylan kept having dreams about footsteps and flashlights — apparently still being followed.

Marlon and Rhona tried to calm Dylan down, but he suddenly confessed to April: “I did something bad. If they found out, I would disappear again.”

The truth is slowly emerging: Dylan was once forced to transport “contraband” for a criminal group – and the leader may be the one involved in Bear Wolf’s disappearance.

If the boy’s words are true, Emmerdale is facing a more dangerous dark web than ever.
