While the villagers of Emmerdale still believe that Jai and Laurel’s marriage is back on track, the new week drops an emotional bombshell that causes everything to collapse faster than expected.

Jai Sharma – the man who thought he had changed – has once again deeply hurt Laurel, and this time, Laurel is no longer strong enough to hide the pain.

The story explodes when Laurel realizes that Jai has secretly done something extremely selfish: he arbitrarily participated in an important decision related to Bear without consulting her.

This hits right at Laurel’s old wound – the obsession with being hidden, manipulated, and put in a passive position by the person she loves.
