No one expected that in the heart of the peaceful Dales village, a “small accident” would turn into chaos that would shock the whole of Emmerdale.

Kerry Wyatt and Jai Sharma – two people who don’t like each other – were suddenly trapped in the office after a heated argument.

It sounded like a joke, but the situation became more and more serious when the door handle broke, trapping both of them inside without anyone knowing.

It all started when Kerry went to find Jai to talk about their financial troubles.

She wanted to back out, but Jai insisted on keeping control. Words were exchanged, tension reached a peak, Kerry got up to leave – only to find the door was locked. At first, both of them smiled awkwardly, but when they tried to knock on the door, call, and realized there was no phone signal, the smiles faded.

The atmosphere was suffocating. Kerry tried to calm down, but Jai started to lose control. He suspected that this was not an accident, but a trap someone set up to force them to face each other. Kerry’s eyes were confused – was it Jai who set the scene to force her to sign the papers? Or on the contrary, did someone want them to “take the blame” for each other?

The climax was when the two sat in the middle of a dark room, with only the weak light from the desk. Kerry confessed that she was afraid to be near Jai – not only because of the closed space, but because of his “predatory” gaze. And Jai, in his fatigue, began to talk about “mistakes that he could not fix”. The door was silent, only the ticking of the clock. The feeling of both imprisonment and exposure made the audience shiver.
