At the climax of the film, the screenwriter brings the audience to a suffocating situation: Kev – Robert’s secret husband – only has a few months left to live.

He hopes Robert will be by his side during his final moments, keeping his marriage vows.

But this means Robert must choose: stay by Kev’s side to fulfill his responsibility, or return to Aaron – the man he truly loves.

The scenes where Robert visits Kev in the hospital, silently watching him struggle with a serious illness, depict a fierce struggle.

One side is duty, the other is love. And every decision leads to loss. If Robert stays with Kev, he may lose Aaron forever. But if he abandons Kev, he will live his whole life with the obsession of betraying a dying person.
