Emmerdale Spoiler: Kim Tate was betrayed by Lydia – Sam, lying unconscious in the woods after the horrific hunting incident at Home Farm
While the whole village of Emmerdale was in turmoil over the Celia – Ray case, Home Farm exploded another bomb, this time straight into the heart of one of the most powerful characters: Kim Tate.
Surprisingly, in this storyline, Kim was not the mastermind but the victim – the victim of the very people she tried to be kind and reach out to help: Lydia and Sam.
The relationship between Kim and Lydia was already scratched.
Lydia was upset when she saw Kim donating little to the Christmas fair, and then Kim letting Joe bully Sam also made her lose trust.

Kim – who always stood on top of Home Farm looking down – suddenly fell into the position of having to prove that she really cared about the Dingle family, not just saw them as tools. And she chose to do it in a rather… grand way.
Kim secretly prepares a “dream” gift for Lydia: asking Jason Donovan to perform a private performance at The Woolpack, giving Lydia a truly fangirl-fueled evening. While Lydia is “lured” to the pub, eagerly awaiting the “super surprise”, Kim is dragged into a situation she was not informed of – a clandestine hunting mission on Home Farm land, initiated by Sam himself to earn extra money.

Sam, under financial pressure, decides to do what he always told himself he would never do: take advantage of Home Farm behind Kim’s back. He organizes a “black” hunting session, allowing strangers to use Kim’s land, hoping to make some money without anyone knowing. Lydia is hesitant at first, but then, out of love for her husband and concern for the family’s future, she quietly stands by Sam, helping him hide his plan.
