After the secret is revealed, Liam Cavanagh becomes the one who is turned against the whole village.

Kev counter-accuses Liam of “making up stories”, and Robert – in the chaos – does not know who to believe.

Aaron Dingle rushes in, punches the wall, and shouts: “If you had known earlier, I would have stopped the wedding!”

Liam is suspended, the medical board opens an investigation, and the Emmerdale community is divided into two factions: “Team Liam” believes he did the right thing – “Team Kev” believes he ruined other people’s happiness.

In an emotional scene, Liam sits alone in the clinic, looks at his trembling, blood-stained hands after saving people, and whispers: “I saved them from death, but who saved me from regret?”

The writers have revealed that Liam will make a surprise move in the next episode – perhaps leaving Emmerdale for good, or… revealing an even bigger secret. Either way, the character has crossed a moral line, and fans are going crazy: “Liam is now the most tragic character on the soap this year.”
