Emmerdale viewers must still remember the shock that happened in July, when Bear Wolf had to leave the village in humiliation.

The cause came from a series of tense conflicts with his own son – Paddy.

Arguments followed one another, from family matters to personal conflicts, finally exploding into a fierce argument.

Paddy, in a fit of uncontrollable anger, shouted straight at his father: he was no longer welcome at Tenant House.

In a choking moment, Bear turned to Mandy and Paddy, whispering goodbye: “Maybe I’ll never come back.” He lied that he was going to live with a friend, but his bewildered eyes revealed the truth: Bear was hiding a big secret.

The scene of Bear walking in the dark, dragging an old suitcase, made viewers choke up. Mandy tried to hold him back, but it was too late. Paddy, despite his tough exterior, silently watched his father disappear with conflicted eyes.

The audience immediately understood that this was not just a normal separation. Bear’s departure from the village opened up a mystery, a dramatic twist that the Emmerdale writers had been nurturing. And that made the audience both pity and eagerly await.
