Emmerdale Spoiler: Rhona recklessly gathers £20,000 to bribe the devil to save April one last time.
While Moira chose a straightforward approach, Rhona Goskirk took the most dangerous path of her life: secretly gathering £20,000 to buy a “deal” with Ray – Celia’s bloodthirsty henchman – hoping to exchange that money for April’s freedom.
From the moment she heard the £20,000, Rhona knew it was a trap, because a man like Ray would never stop after just one payment.
But each time she saw April huddled after her nightmares, hearing her unconsciously call out Dylan’s name, she felt she had no other choice.
So Rhona began a desperate race against time and money: she dug up old debts, called those who owed her money, begged for extensions, and tried to scrape together every last penny.

Meanwhile, Marlon gathered everything he could sell, from the car to items that seemed to hold family memories. Arguments erupted between the couple not because they didn’t want to save their daughter, but because they knew that by giving Ray the money, they were officially signing a document confirming their place in his hands, and he could repeat the blackmail at any time. But the fear of what April had gone through was so overwhelming that all reason was pushed aside.
When the small bank loan was approved, and most of their belongings had been sold, Rhona and Marlon still found they were £3,000 short of Ray’s demand, forcing Rhona to do something extreme she might never forgive herself for – perhaps asking someone she hated intensely for money, accepting another toxic debt of gratitude, or even pawning the only thing that kept the family afloat.
