Emmerdale Spoiler: Robert screamed in despair, Chas coldly mocked him before he was arrested

Immediately after the cliff tragedy, the hospital atmosphere became a dramatic battlefield.

When Aaron was fighting for his life in the recovery room, and John lay unconscious, Robert tried to tell the truth.

He recounted John’s entire plot, even suspecting that his brother was involved in Mack Boyd’s disappearance.

But Robert’s every word was drowned out by indignation.

Chas Dingle stood up and denounced: “It’s all your fault! You pushed my son into this hell!” In her eyes, Robert was just a selfish person, causing the tragedy and then blaming others. Not only did Chas not sympathize, she also coldly mocked him, as if she was gloating that Robert was driven into a corner.

Victoria, who should have been Robert’s only support, could not open her mouth to defend him. Confusion and fear made her choose to remain silent. This made Robert even more painful, when even his own family did not believe him.

The tragic moment reached its climax when the police appeared. Robert was handcuffed and escorted away amidst the contemptuous eyes of everyone. He cried and begged: “Please believe me! I did not do this!” But the only response was sighs and cold shakes of the head.

The audience felt suffocated when witnessing Robert being caught up in the vortex of injustice. A man who had made a mistake was now accused by his own flesh and blood, and that despair made the audience feel both pity and anger. Would anyone dare to stand up to clear Robert’s name at this time?
