The climax of the entire Emmerdale story this season is the terrifying confrontation in the dark warehouse – where Dawn, April and Laurel face Ray Walters for the last time.

Dawn prepared a hidden camera, Laurel lured Ray in with a “need to talk privately” call, and April was hidden in the corner with a livestream phone.

The episode ended with the three women sitting together after the storm, their faces tired but radiant. Laurel said: “We did the right thing.” Dawn replied: “Yes, but the war is not over.” And the black screen read: “To Be Continued…”
